DIRECTIONS TO OUR LODGE & OTHER QUESTIONS

Directions from Departure Bay Ferry Terminal (Nanaimo)

• When leaving the ferry terminal take a right up Brechin Road
• Turn right on highway 19A north until it joins highway 19
• Continue on highway 19 until the highway 4 exit for Port Alberni/Qualicum Beach.  Follow the Port Alberni off ramp (highway 4 west)
• Highway 4 continues through Port Alberni. Take a right at the t-junction at the bottom of Port Alberni (Johnston Road) following highway 4
• Follow highway 4 (Pacific Rim Highway) to the Ucluelet/Tofino t-junction. Take a left (south) to Ucluelet
• Follow the road for 9 km.  The highway will turn into Peninsula Road and pass through Ucluelet passing 2 schools and Little Beach until you reach Reef Point Road on the right hand side
• Take a right down Reef Point Road for 100m.  On the left hand side of the road is Rainforest Beach Lodge

Directions from Victoria

• Take Trans Canada highway 1 north until it joins highway 19 near Nanaimo, then follow the above directions

How long is the drive?

• The drive from Victoria is  4.5 to 5 hours
• The drive from Nanaimo is 2.5 to 3 hours

Can we fly there and then rent a car?

• Yes, you can fly from Vancouver, Nanaimo and Seattle to Tofino Airport and then rent a car.  The lodge is only 30 minutes from the airport

Do we need to make reservations on the ferry?

• During the summer months and on long weekends and holidays we recommend making a reservation

Do we have pet friendly accommodation?

• Yes, in 2 cabins

If I have dog allergies do you have a pet free cabin?

• Yes, and the lodge is also pet free

Do the cabin prices include breakfast?

• No, however we can make you breakfast for $12 per person. Please let us know in advance if you would like breakfast.

Are you on the ocean side or the inlet side of Ucluelet?

• We are on the open ocean side of Ucluelet and we are also on the waterfront with direct beach access.

Can we check in early?

• If the room is ready.  Please advise if an early check-in is desired

What if we arrive past check in time?

• Please give us a call and let us know what time you will arrive

Do you have any equipment for infants?

• We can provide a high chair and a baby gate for the stairs when requested.  Please ask at the time of booking
