EXPERIENCE THE BREATHTAKING WEST COAST

The Rainforest Beach Lodge and Cabins is an ocean beach front resort in the small village of Ucluelet, south of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The resort comprises a small luxurious lodge and three luxurious cabins nestled amongst the trees and steps away from the beach.

The lodge has spectacular ocean views which can be enjoyed from all rooms. The great room has vaulted cedar ceilings, skylights and a gas fireplace, providing a quiet place to relax at the end of the day. The dining room has a fireplace and large picture windows overlooking the rugged coastline. Sliding doors open onto the patio where one can enjoy breakfast and hear the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below.

The six large suites have king or queen size beds, soaker tubs, comfortable sitting areas, gas fireplaces and private decks on which to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. All suites have an ocean view. One suite is wheelchair accessible.

The three fully equipped cabins have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large kitchen, dining room and living room. The cabins have a gas fireplace and a BBQ on the deck. One cabin has a spectacular ocean view and the other cabins are nestled in the old growth forest with peek-a-boo ocean views. Two cabins are pet friendly. The lodge and cabins are just minutes away from the beach via a boardwalk.

A visit to the lodge and cabins is ideal for experiencing a true west coast vacation. The lodge, with its cozy and intimate atmosphere, is perfect for adults, small weddings and retreats. The cabins are suitable for families and small groups.

Rainforest Beach Lodge Activities

Sports fishing, whale watching, nature cruises, hiking, walking, surfing, golfing, ocean kayaking, biking and storm watching are just some of the many activities which can be enjoyed in this area.

During whale watching tours, the Pacific Gray whales can be seen as they migrate north from the Baja coast up to Alaska.  Humpback whales and Orca whales can be seen throughout the spring and summer months.  There are also sea otters, sea lions and bald eagles in the area.

Pacific Rim National Park Reserve with its long sandy beaches, rocky headlands, old growth forests and unique bogs offer a variety of walks.  Easy walks can be taken along boardwalks and beaches and the more adventurous walker can explore the rocky headlands.

During the winter months, storm watching shows mother nature at its wildest.  The Pacific Ocean pounds the rugged coastline sending high waves crashing against the rocky headlands and rolling onto the sandy beaches.

The Area - Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim National Park Reserve includes the Broken Island Group, just south of Ucluelet, and to the north many beaches including the well known Wickaninnish and Long Beach.
